Hi Beauties,
This post Is going to be about the good and sadly the bad of Sally Hansen’s Sugar Coat polish In the gorgeous Red Velvet.
It is a beautiful rich red that has an eye catching pink shimmer and the tiniest silver flecks of sliver and blue micro glitter give this polish the perfect finish. It applies to a stunning opaque, stream free finish in just two coats.
After the first coat:
The pink tone in the polish can be seen more easily but it still gives very opaque coverage after just one coat.
After the second coat:
The polish looks a lot more red and it also has a very prominent ‘sugar coat’ texture to it.
It dries quite quickly, in my experience the two costs are dry within 5 to 10 mins of IRS application depending the thickness of the coats and weather of not I use ice water to aid drying time.
It doesn’t really have that much if a smell even in the bottle it is fairly muted compared to polishes from sinful colors and MUA. Also on the nail there’s is little to no smell at all.
That was the good and there’s slot of it, now let’s get too the bad, this polish is beautiful, this polish has a fantastic looking finish, this polish has barely any smell, this polish CHIPS LIKE HELL.
On my nails my completed Red Velvet mani didn’t even last a day, which is so disappointing seen as this polish is absolutely beautiful.
The Scores:
Application: 9/10
Dry Time: 8/10
Colour: 10/10
Durability: 2/10
Wear-ability: 9/10
Love, Hugs And Glossy Kisses
