I Want Essence

Hi Beauties

I hope you are all doing well, right now I’m so so bored so I’m posting to keep myself entertained.

I’m considering buying essence nail polish, I’ve read some reviews and watched some YouTube videos and they seem great, very pigmented and cheap, so here are the polishes from essence I want in my collection.

The first is ‘Precious Peacock’ which is a very beautiful emerald green colour, I defiantly want this colour for autumn.

The second ‘essence’ polish I want is called ‘Columbus Circle Crimson’ it’s not as red or as dark as the name suggests, to me it is less crimson and more pillar box red.

‘East Village’ is another lovely colour it is more blue toned than ‘Precious Peacock’ but it is still a deep rich colour, I think this polish would be more suited for spring or summer.

‘Grernwich Village’ is a polish that you might expect to be well, green. Instead it’s a stunning summery hot pink colour, a definite polish want for spring of 2015.

The fifth polish I want in my collection is called ‘Park Ave’ which for me is a stunning tree trunk brown shade that screams autumn, it’s also a very neutral colour so would be perfect for the office.

‘Minted On Broadway’ is a very bright very summery mint blue shade, but at the same time it can also give a mani that icy winter look.

Finally ‘Side walkers’ is a classic wintery grey shade, it’s a beautiful yet neutral shade which gives an effortless finish to any outfit.

Bold Baby Blues

Hi Beauties

I hope you are all doing well today, better than I am at least just when I thought I was better my cold comes back with a vengeance ūüė¶ I don’t feel well at all.

Plus this morning I learnt that a great actor robin Williams has died, it just goes to show that money really can’t buy happiness, RIP my captain, my captain.

Since I’m feeling blue today I thought if share my fave baby blue polishes with you all.

The first is by Rimmel and is called ‘Too Cool To Tango’ it’s a beautiful sky blue, the kind of blue you see when there aren’t any clouds in the sky. ‘Too Cool To Tango’ is a polish that looks absorbable with a tan.

The next polish I chose to feature in this post is Barry M’s ‘Pale Blue’. This shade is a lot more toned down than Rimmel’s ‘Too Cool To Tango’, it is a lot more muted, but still a very pretty pastel blue shade.

‘Cinderella’ by Sinful Colors really lives up to it’s name, it’s the perfect white based blue tone with flecks of silver micro glitter which give it that stunning fairy tale finish.

‘Blueberry Muffin’ from Models Own, is again a more muted pastel shade, it’s a very white based blue tone and is perfect for the last of the summer manis.

Although I’ve never tried a Butter London polish ‘Artful Dodger’ really caught my eye, this a more green based blue and the darker shade makes it the perfect spring to summer transition colour, maybe one for 2015.

Finally ‘Blue Lagoon’ is a another stunning sky blue shade, although it’s not as bold as ‘Too Cool To Tango’ it’s still one of my go to summer polishes, Rimmel polishes are by far my fave, their formula is fantastic.

As you can probably tell I’m not much of a blue polish wearer, I have nails that love to soak up colour and blue polishes really do stain.

Excited For Essence

Hi Beauties,

A local store near my home has stated selling Essence cosmetics, this includes everything from eye make up to foundation, lip products and my favourite of all, nail polish. Although the display Is only small that have pretty good selection of make up and nail polish.

Here are my favourite ‘Color and Go’ nail polish colours from what this pretty little Essence stand has to offer.

The first is called ‘Naughty and Pink’ and is a stunning bright pinky coral-y colour, it would look lovely with a tan.

‘Hello marshmallow’ is a pretty white toned lilac perfect for a spring manicure.

The third polish is called ‘Love Me Cupcake’ and is a nude with a slight hung of pink, this polish is just what you need to play down your look.

‘Galatic Glam’ is a green polish complete with specks of sliver micro glitter that give this polish an out of this world shimmer.

Again ‘Sweet As Candy’ is a very nude toned pink, it’s sheer and would look beautiful as the base of a French manicure.

‘Free Hugs’ is a very vibrant Barbie pink, it’s fun, flirty and super girly.

‘English Rose’ is another pretty vintage pink, I love this colour and can’t wait to have it on my nails.

‘Do You Speak Love’ is a very classic ‘London bus red’, it’s not one of my favourite polishes from Essence but it’s fantastic for making the transition from summer to autumn.

The ninth polish Is called ‘Prink and Proud’ is a very usual shade as it is a sliver polish with a purple-y undertone which in my opinion would make a very uniquely intreating manicure.

Finally ‘Be Berry Now’ is another must have polish from me, it is the perfect shade of raspberry red and would look beautiful on a snowy day.

Thanks for reading beauties, I might do other entries based on Essence cosmetics as I love their colour range, their quality is good and they are very reasonably priced.
