Rimmel: Your Majesty

Hi Beauties

I know I haven’t posted for over a month but I just haven’t had the time, I may be shutting this blog down I haven’t decided yet, what do you think I should do?

I painted my nails today for the first time in two months with Rommels ‘your Majesty’ it’s a beautiful sliver shade that is part of their ‘I love lasting finish’ range.

Not only do I love the colour, but it is opaque in one coat which is perfect for when I know I have a busy day ahead, ‘Your Majesty’ is the perfect way to add a bit of interest and sparkle to a more casual outfit.

What do you think of Rimmels ‘Your Majesty’ do you love it or hate it?

Thanks for reading Beauties, until next time (if there is one)

I will post pics and prices tomorrow, who’s interested?, nothing will be going for an extortionate price as I want most things gone, first come first serve.

Today’s Mani: Red Rose

Hi Beauties

So I haven’t been around much but work has been manic, but I finally have a very well deserved day off, so I thought I’d paint my nails again after over a fortnight of chipped ‘Cayenne’ by Rimmel, lovely colour but a bit tired of it now.

Today’s mani Is ‘Red Rose’ from one of my all time favourite make up brands MUA. ‘Red Rose’ is a lovely summery orange based red shade. It’s super cheap and is opaque in just one coat.

Again excuse my poorly painted nails, I’m out of Q-tips for my clean up, it’s a lovely colour both in the bottle and on the nails, it’s slight lighter on the nails but still a beautiful rose red shade.

I’m hoping to post on Thursday night, when I finish work early but if I were you I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Today’s Mani: English Rose

Hi Beauties

First of all I’d like to thank all of you for the lovely likes and comments on my post ‘Starting YouTube’, I still do have research to do and maybe a camera to buying depending on how well my iPhone holds up, if all goes well I’m hoping to start in May. čÖé

So back to today’s post…

My mani for today or more like this week is is another polish from Rimmel’s Lasting Finish Collection. The polish is ‘English Rose’ and is another pink shade. But unlike ‘Pink Zanfendel’ it has a red undertone and a very pretty vintage look.

I do want to start  wearing more orange and coral shades but ‘English Rose’ was the only Rummel Lasting Finish formula I could find whilst rumaging around in my polish collection.

I specifically chose this line of polish because it stays on literally forever, and work is about to get a little full on for me so I want havd as much free time hanse why I’m putting off YouTube until May.

Please excuse my shabby nails again I keep breaking them :(.

Stating YouTube

Hi Beauties

I’ll have a mani of the day and a jewellery collection post up by the end of the week.

But first I’m planning on starting a YouTube channel, but I’d like to know what you’d think if I did, would you watch my videos?, I’m 25 am I too old to start a channel?

Can you give me any tips or bits of advice that would help me out?

Help please,

Love, Hugs And Glossy Kisses,

Today’s Mani: Pink Zanfandel

Hi Beauties

First off I’d like to say, I’m sorry for not being around much recently, my work hours are changing and I really don’t have much time to post at the moment.

So sorry and big hugs from me čÖé

My mani today features a shade that I haven’t worn for a while, ‘Pink Zinfandel’ from Rimmel is a stunning vintage pink shade with a rose gold shimmer.

For me it’s the perfect transition shade to spring, and the formula is amazing, it glides on, drys quickly and lasts for up to a week without chipping, perfect.

Without flash

With flash, here you can really see the Rose gold shimmer, love it.

Forgive the state of my wonkie, broken nail, I broke it at work,  I filed and shaped it the best I could for this mani but it still doesn’t look fantastic.

Thanks for reading Beauties, if you can recommend anything that will help my nails become strong and in better condition please let me know, I’m so tired of them breaking all the time.

My Faves: Pretty Pastel Polishes

Hi Beauties

Spring is finally coming, there are lighter mornings which makes dragging myself out of bed for work a nicer experience, there are cute clothes in my fave shops that I can’t wait to get my hands on, but best of all there are pretty spring time pastel polishes,

And here are some of my faves…

The first pretty pastel polish I want to feature in this post is ‘Apple Pie’ by Models Own, It’s a stunning pale green shade that would look lovely with a tan

´╗┐´╗┐

The second polish is a sky blue shade, now as many of you know I’m not really a blue nail polish kind of girl, but Maybelline’s ‘Uptown Blue’ really stood out to me, it reminds me of a clear sky on a warm sunny day, it’s simply beautiful.

´╗┐´╗┐

The third polish is one I really do want to try its Essie’s ‘Garden Variety’ which is part of their new spring collection, its a very unquie shade, it has the perfect balance between green and blue that creates a colour all it own that is perfect for the coming spring.

´╗┐

The next polish is from Rimmel’s new Rita Ora collection, not only are the bottles super cute and girly but the colours are sweet and pastel perfect, my favourite is ‘Sweet Retreat’ is a lovely blue toned pink shade and will make you look very tanned.

´╗┐

´╗┐Thank you lovely for the beautiful swatches ´╗┐

Next I’m going to move onto a polish from Revlon that has been featured in many several of my posts before, yes as you may have guessed it’s a green and no it isn’t ‘Rain Forest’. ‘Minted’ (Thanks for the lovely swatch huni) is a classic Spring to summer transition shade, that isn’t to bright to be worn day or night.

´╗┐´╗┐

‘Road Rage’ from Barry M is one that I went to purchase last week, it is part of the Speedy Quick Dry collection and was impossible to get hold of, I am very disappointed that I still don’t own this gorgeous fresh green spring shade, maybe some day I will :).

´╗┐´╗┐

Finally Ciates’s ‘Spinning Teacup’ is also a pretty pastel polish that I have featured in other posts, but I thought I’d mention it again, it’s a beautiful vintage lilac shade that suits it’s name perfectly, I can’t wait to own it.

´╗┐´╗┐

Thank you huni for providing me with such an adorable swatch

Thanks for reading Beauties, I hope you all enjoyed this post. Are there any pretty pastel polishes that I’ve missed out? Which are your favourite shades for spring?.
